MISSION STATEMENT:

A free and appropriate public education is a privilege and a right of all children in MSAD 23/RSU 87.  Our mission is to provide educational programs and instruction according to each child’s aptitudes, abilities, interests and needs.  Mastery of basic skills takes precedence over all other school initiatives and when necessary, energy and resources from other activities will be diverted to achieve what schools do best.

All children should be challenged by the school program and motivated by instructional staff to actualize their educational potential.

Education provides the foundation a child needs to become an independent and productive adult, able to make appropriate decisions, achieve objectives, realize ideals, and support community values.  MSAD 23/RSU 87 will ardently pursue this mission to ensure that each student is provided the best education possible.
